SELANGOR MALAYSIA, 8 September 2009 - Taylor's Anime Society is hosting an ACG/Jculture festival called Taylor's ASABAN Festival at Taylor's University College Main Campus in Subang Jaya, Selangor on the 26th September 2009, from 11am to 11pm.

ASABAN is the combination of the Japanese kanji, Asa( 朝 ) and Ban( 晩 ), meaning "Day" and "Night" respectively, to represent the fusion of cultures and the festivities lasting from day to night.

Expect a full blast of ACG activities ranging from StepMania! and Osu! to Doujinshi/fanart booths to performances from Spirit of Music and not to mention, cosplay!! The event will also be featuring an exclusive cosplay cafe with characters from various anime such as Bleach, D.Gray-man, Ouran Highschool Host Club and so much more!

The talented Spirit of Music, a collection of different J-music bands from Malaysia will be playing songs from Asian Kungfu Generation(!!), L'arc~en~ciel, Saiyuki, Slam Dunk, Beat Crusaders, B'z and so much more!! In fact, they will playing music at intervals throughout the entire event! Prepare for a J-rock, J-pop, J-alternative jamming session with the bands: Kizuna, Flicked Mind, Voltz, Miniature Garden and more.

There's even a mass Hare Hare Yukai Dance for all to join! And if you're still not satisfied, you can stay to join the Bon Odori dance at night.

In addition to all that craziness, you can also opt to rent yukatas at the yukata rental booth for a really attractive fee. It will be a night to remember! Then you can later check in to watch the exclusive, one-of-a-kind Wedding Kimono Demonstration. Kimonos are so rare these days because each kimono can easily cost up to US$20 000. I'm not kidding! So you really can't miss this one! It's a rare opportunity.

Also happening during the night event are matsuri games!! You know, those games you see on animes like the goldfish netting game, and the mini games like those on Honey and Clover? There will be a whole load of traditional festival games that night that you wouldn't like to miss out on!

Awesome prizes will be up for grabs for winners of the cosplay competitions, art competitions, singing competitions, lucky draws and etc. Goodie bags with mystery gifts will be given out to visitors on a first come first serve basis so, come and enjoy the fun from as early as 11am!
